Resource_nameExists

Check if a resource name exists inside a parent resource context

Syntax

Resource_nameExists(parentResourceId, resourceType, name)

or

Resource_nameExists(parentResourceQualifiedName, resourceType, name)

Arguments

  • parentResourceId: is a number expression. It is the parent resource's resource id
  • parentResourceQualifiedName: is a string expression. It is the qualified name of the parent resource
  • resourceType: is a number expression, it must be one value among the predefined constants (see getResourceTypeFromGuid function for more information)
  • name: is a string expression, which must follow the format for resource names

Return value

bool

Example

bool b1 = Resource_nameExists(15543655, Resource_Type_Project, "Yet another project");

bool b2 = Resource_nameExists("My Folder\\My current project", Resource_Type_Project, "Yet another project");
