Document editor

CatGlobe introduces the Document Editor - a solution to simplify the task of making reports. Once you start working with it, you will soon find it is not only an easy-to-use tool, but also a powerful tool that can interact with Data Cache/Diagrams. Moreover it offers a recently added feature that makes it possible to export any reports to PDF documents, makes the editor more valuable than ever!

The editor consists of a top menu, two tool bars underneath it, and an editing area.

In the top menu, you will find a number of commands which are shortly described in the table below.

Level 1	Level 2	Shortcut key	Description
System	Language option	Ctrl + Shift + L	Configure languages displayed in the document
	Save	Ctrl + S	Save the document to the database
	Close	Ctrl + Q	Close the editor
Insert	Table of contents		Insert table of contents of the document into the current page
	Hyperlink		Insert a hyperlink into the current page
	Picture		Insert a picture to the current page
	Diagram		Create a diagram and insert it into the current page using the Spreadsheet editor
	Copy diagrams		Copy existing diagrams from other resources and insert them into the current page
	Portrait section		Feature that influences export of the document report to PDF. All pages that are converted to PDF from this section insert and until a "Landscape section" insert is met, will be exported in portrait format.
	Landscape section		Feature that influences export of the document report to PDF. All pages that are converted to PDF from this section insert and until a "Portrait section" insert is met, will be exported in landscape format.
Page	Back		Go to the next page
	Forward		Go to the previous page
	Add before		Add a new page before the current page
	Add after		Add a new page after the current page
	Delete		Delete the current page
Advanced	Clear unused diagrams		Free up unnecessary diagrams related to the document
	Attachments		Insert attachments into the current page
	Page setup		Sets up elements for how the page will look when exported to PDF. Please read further down for more information.
